We are delighted to share that Robert Hampson has joined the Office of the Vice Provost for Undergraduate Education (OVPUE) team as the new Assistant Director of Business Operations. In this capacity, he will manage the central administrative team of OVPUE, assist in enhancing and developing HR infrastructure, work with the OUE Employee Engagement and Culture Committee to expand employee engagement initiatives, and collaborate with the Provost Finance Team to support budget management across OUE.    

Robert began at Georgia Tech in 2017. He first worked as Student Support Coordinator II in the Ivan Allen College, managing FASET, Family Weekend, and other events for two years. He then became Administrative Manager II, supporting the School of History and Sociology with HR, finances, and building management for four years. Most recently, Robert served as Assistant Director of Financial Operations for GTHR, overseeing budgets, the incentive awards program, unit-level HR management, and strategic transitions within GTHR.  

Robert has received numerous recognitions and awards, including the Culture Champion (2024) from the Inclusive Leadership Academy and the Spirit of Georgia Tech Award (2022), among others. Additionally, he is the treasurer and an elected member of the Georgia Tech Staff Council. 

Robert holds a bachelor's of science degree in business administration. He is happy to become part of the Office of Undergraduate Education, where he will play a key role in reshaping OUE's business operations and staff engagement efforts.
