Tiana Knight

We are pleased to announce that Tiana Knight has joined the Career Center as a Career Development Advisor.

In this role, Tiana will contribute to growing the success of the Career Center by:

  • Advising and assisting students in identifying co-op, internship, and other experiential learning opportunities, as well as post-graduation career opportunities.
  • Meeting with students individually to assist them in career skill development in establishing career plans, writing resumes and cover letters, preparing for interviews, networking, and other topics.
  • Presenting and coordinating workshops, training, seminars, orientation sessions, and outreach on career-related subjects.
  • Assisting with important transitional programs for undergraduate students including FASET, GT 1000/2000, Week of Welcome, and Admissions events.
  • Developing materials on career development topics, among other responsibilities.

Tiana joins the Georgia Tech Career Center from the University of Georgia, where she served for two years in the University of Georgia Career Center. As Interim Career Consultant and Graduate Assistant for the School of Public and International Affairs and 10+ departments within the Franklin College of Arts and Sciences (Humanities & Pre-Law), she provided students with one-on-one career coaching, which includes resume critiques, job search inquiries, and other developmental skills that would improve students' readiness in the workplace. Before working at UGA, she served as a Student Transition Specialist for Achieve Atlanta's Scholarship & Affordability team.

Tiana received her Bachelor of Science in Psychology and Master of Education in College Student Affairs Administration from the University of Georgia. She is dedicated to empowering students as they navigate their professional journeys with confidence and clarity. Tiana is excited and honored to serve the Georgia Tech community and the city of Atlanta.
