On February 14, 2024, OUE staff and campus partners came together to commemorate the completion of the Clough Commons renovation project with an open house event.
This project involved over 40 staff members from across campus as well as numerous external vendors who met across 80+ meetings in 2023 to implement the beautiful design and renovation of the OUE office space in Clough Commons. The project was completed on time in December 2023, just in time to welcome students for the busy Spring term.
The space houses two major OUE units—the Office of Experiential and Engaged Learning (E2L) and Academic Success and Advising (ASA). These units offer high impact practices and student support programming including UG Research, Innovation and Entrepreneurship, GT1000/2000, Community-Based Learning, Academic Advising, Tutoring, Retention and Completion, and First-Gen Initiatives, iGniTe, FYSA, and Post-Graduate & Pre-Professional Advising.
In their remarks, Vice Provost Steven Girardot and Senior Director of Strategic Initiatives and Operations Jo Beth Cup thanked the following individuals, teams, and vendors.
