Jon Reid was born in Houston, Texas. He developed an interest in computers early in life and, in high school, discovered programming. He went on to pursue a degree in computer science at Texas A&M University. During his time at A&M, he worked on projects across a variety of topics such as cybersecurity, web scraping, GPS routing, and database systems. 

Jon is proficient in several programming languages, including the core web languages. He is passionate about creating quality products for good purposes with clean and efficient code. He's developed websites for various companies across the state. One project of note he developed was a web application for a home building company that allowed users to sort and filter the company's home inventory and floor plans.

In his free time, Jon enjoys playing tennis, soccer and golf. He values time with friends and family, and he loves to take his Corgi Emma out to hike on the weekend.
