We are excited to announce that James Godard has joined OUE’s Strategic Initiatives & Operations team as a RBW Admin Professional. James will work with Mysty Connelly as a member of OUE's HR team, and our HR campus stakeholders, to assist with human resource matters within the Office of Undergraduate Education (OUE). James has a wealth of HR and GT experience and we are excited for him to join the team! He recently retired from Georgia Tech this past July 2022 with more than 27 years of service to the Institute.
 
Before joining SI&O, he recently retired from the School of Materials Science and Engineering, where he was the Assistant Director for Administrative Operations. In his role, James supported school chairs; coordinated office activities and functions; HR policy and procedures; compliance; visa processing; liaison for all faculty, staff and student public concerns, issues, policies and procedures; faculty (academic/research), staff and temporary hiring; internal audits, space management, reporting and evaluations. In his spare time he enjoys outdoor activities, travel, sports and small design projects.
