Amaka Nwoko comes to Georgia Tech from Kennesaw State University’s Department of Career Planning and Development where she served students within the Michael J. Coles College of Business completing degrees in the Department of Marketing and Professional Sales, the Michael A. Leven School of Management, Entrepreneurship and Hospitality, and the Department of Economics, Finance, and Quantitative Analysis. Prior to working at Kennesaw State, she served as an academic advisor for Clayton State University’s Online College of Business degree programs for 2 years.

She received both her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and her Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership from Valdosta State University in Georgia. She believes that career services is an integral department that shows the connection between current studies with future opportunities, and enjoys being a part of this discovery process for students.
