Please join me in congratulating De’Angelo Neely as he starts a new position at Georgia Tech. As of August 2, De’Angelo is the Assistant Director of Summer Sessions and Special Initiatives. We are excited to see De’Angelo continue to focus on transfer students in his new position, and wish him all the best.
During his time as the first Transfer Success Advisor/Program & Ops Manager in the OUE, De’Angelo has offered programs ranging from student social mixers, finals preparation drop-in events, transfer-specific academic coaching, and focus group sessions.
A past winner of the Instructor of the Year for GT 1000, De’Angelo transitioned to teaching GT 2000 classes and to serving as a resource for fellow instructors. He has been a strong collaborator with campus partners, a great team player, and a valued member of Undergraduate Advising & Transition.
We in UAT and ASA will miss working with him on a daily basis, but the good news is that we will still collaborate with him in his role in Enrollment Management!
