Administrative Manager II
Ariel has been a part of the Georgia Tech community for three years, where she served in a financial administration role where she managed extensive grants and awards. Prior to her tenure at Georgia Tech, Ariel worked at the University of West Georgia, where she managed the department budget and implemented processes. She also oversaw HR functions, supported financial and personnel management, and developed key business plans and policies to align with organizational goals.
Ariel Jones has a robust background in higher education finance, business, and administrative operations. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Business Management from Jacksonville State University and a Master's degree in Management from Middle Georgia State University. Currently, Ariel is pursuing a Doctorate in Higher Education Administration from the University of West Georgia.
Ariel is passionate about higher education and dedicated to supporting students, faculty, staff, and external partners. She prioritizes student needs while aligning with the university's mission and vision.
