Congratulations to Monique Morris, who graduated in May with her B.S. in Psychology from Georgia State University! Monique pursued her degree with the Tuition Assistance Program (TAP) while working full time at Georgia Tech, first in the Career Center and later as the Pre-Graduate and Pre-Professional Coordinator, Senior. By taking classes consistently, usually in the evenings or online, Monique turned her higher education aspirations into a reality. Monique says she is happy to have invested the time and energy into her degree:
Education is an important value for me. When I was younger life challenges got in the way, but I'd always declared I would attain this goal.
Over the years it took to earn the degree, Monique says, she discovered her own resilience, pushing herself onward, class after class. She says she is proud to have modeled perseverance for her son, Mason, who is 15.
Please join us in congratulating Monique!
