OUE is proud to announce that Lauren Evans has been promoted to Senior Program and Operations Manager in the Georgia Tech Honors Program (HP), effective July 1, 2023. Lauren joined the HP in 2014 as an Administrative Professional III and has been a vital part of the success and expansion of the program. She was promoted to Senior Administrative Professional in 2015 and Program and Operations Manager in 2017. Lauren is a graduate of the University of Alabama (BA, English) and UNC- Wilmington (MA, Liberal Studies).

In her capacity as the Senior Program and Operations Manager, Lauren continues to report to Amy D'Unger, Interim Director and Associate Director for the HP. Lauren is responsible for the day-to-day business operations of the HP, oversees recruitment and admissions of students, develops and implements large-scale HP programming, serves as a point-of-contact for internal and external stakeholders to the HP, facilitates outreach to HP alums, and oversees the development and activities of HP student leaders on the Honors Leadership Council.
