Dear colleagues,
I hope this email finds you well. I am writing to share some exciting news with you and to express my sincere gratitude for the outstanding collaboration we have had during my time as the Director of Summer & Special Session Initiatives at Georgia Tech.
I am thrilled to announce that I have accepted a faculty position in the School of Management at Clemson University. Returning to my alma mater fills me with immense pride and enthusiasm as I enter a new phase in my professional journey.
I want to take this moment to thank each and every one of you for your unwavering support and collaboration over the past few years. I have learned invaluable lessons from each of you and am truly grateful for your guidance and mentorship. Our collective efforts to enhance the onboarding experience for our first-year summer students and promote the academic success of our continuing students have made a significant impact. Your commitment to excellence has truly made a difference in our students' lives, and I am sincerely grateful for your invaluable contributions.
While I will undoubtedly miss working with all of you, I am excited to embark on this new chapter in my career. I hope that we will stay connected, and I eagerly look forward to the possibility of collaborating with you again in the future.
Please note that my last day will be August 7, following the conclusion of the iGniTe program and the summer term. For any iGniTe-related inquiries, kindly direct them to Mr. Erik Johnson (erik.johnson@scc.gaatech.edu). For general Summer Session matters, please reach out to Dr. Paul Kohn (paul.kohn@ssc.gatech.edu) until a replacement is selected.
Thank you again for everything. I wish you all the best in your future endeavors.
Sincerely,
De Morris
