I’m sharing the bittersweet news that Jamie Whitehead has accepted a job offer in another unit on campus and will leave her role as Admin Professional at the GT Career Center.
 
Jamie joined the team in early 2019 as a Tech Temp at the Center’s front desk. She accepted a regular position at the Center later that year and has been the first point of contact for the Center since. She has been a significant part of the team, professionally and culturally, during her time here. She has contributed immensely to administrative processes in the office and championed the Campus Closet, including managing the receipt of a $32,000 donation for that initiative. All this while studying hard to complete her B.A. at Kennesaw State University.
 
Jamie’s last day with the Career Center will be Friday, 1/13/23. Please join me in wishing her all the best in her future endeavors.
