As this unprecedented summer unfolds, Summer Session Initiatives is excited to welcome summer first-year students in a virtual environment, with the biggest iGniTe group to date: over 700 students! This year, iGniTe will welcome first year students with virtual co-curricular programming and remote delivery coursework, including GT 1000. We are excited to innovate the iGniTe program to adapt to changing circumstances, while still providing robust services and support for new students. iGniTe students will take 6-7 credits, and will be completing coursework from wherever they are in the world. The program will also have a virtual mentorship program, the SPARK Mentor Program, which pairs upperclass iGniTe students with the newest cohort of incoming first-years.
